Church ceremony: When & Where?

We are happy to welcome you on the 29th of August 2021, at 2:30pm at the church św. Jakuba Apostoła w Więcławicach (maps link). Please come some minutes in advance to ensure that we can start the entry in the church on time.

Reception in the location: When & Where?

We will start the celebration in the venue Dworzyszcze Wola from 4pm. You will be welcomed with a glass of champagne and will find your seating arrangement.

What should I wear? Will there be a dress code?

Dresscode: Festive & Semi-formal.
We would like to ask not to wear a white dress. If you want to wear a long or cocktail dress is totally up to you, just dress how you feel. Since it is a summer wedding (hopefully), bright colours are more than welcome.

What is the timeline for the day?

  • 02:15pm: Get together in front of the church
  • 02:30pm: Church ceremony at św. Jakuba Apostoła w Więcławicach (maps link)
  • 03:30pm: Park your car at the hotel. Check into your room (if you have not already). Take the shuttle to the venue.
  • 04:30pm: Reception at the venue Dworzyszcze Wola
  • 05:30pm: Entry in the location & First dinner
  • 07:00pm: First dance
  • 09:00pm: Wedding cake
  • 11:30pm: Fun games 
  • Party until 4am

Additional activities that you can look forward to:

  • From 8pm to midnight we will do a barbecue, where you can grab grilled food at any time
  • From 7:30pm to 10:30pm we will have a photo bus, where you can make memorable pictures

What should I bring as a gift?

As we are currently in between moving and have a lot of uncertainty, where our future will be, we would like to ask for money only.

Will food and drinks be served at the wedding?

Of course, you do not have to worry about anything!
However, we would recommend having a little snack/bite for lunch time, as dinner will probably not be served before 5:30pm.

What can I expect from the second day of the wedding?

  • The second day of the wedding is completely optional.
  • We will come together at 12:00pm in the Hotel Szary Residence for a relaxed barbecue, have some drinks and let the past day reminisce. 
  • Barbecue will start around 03:00pm
  • We will offer food and drinks until 08:00pm and for those who are staying until Tuesday in the Hotel Szary Residence, we will sit together (maybe again dance) and let two great nights fade. 

 

COVID-19

Are there any travel restrictions if I come by car?

Polish authorities do accept the EU green pass for those who are:

  • Fully immunised (14 days after receiving the second vaccine shot)
  • Recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months (a medical statement is needed)
  • Tested with a PCR or Antigen-Test, which is not older than 48hrs

Crossing borders by car is very easy and you will not be controlled. All documents are only accepted in Polish or English. Please find detailed information here.

If you come from Austria by car, you will naturally transit through the Czech Republic and will need an electronic vignette to use the highway:

  • You can buy your electronic vignette directly here
  • 10 days should be totally sufficient and you can pay your electronic vignette with credit card
  • The process is very easy and you will have your electronic vignette in less than 5 minutes

Are there any travel restrictions if I come by plane?

  • Recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months (a medical statement is needed)
  • Tested with a PCR or Antigen-Test, which is not older than 48hrs

Additionally, you will have to fill out a health registration form (link). All documents are only accepted in Polish or English. Please find detailed information here.

Will I have to quarantine, if I am vaccinated/tested/recovered?

No! If you fulfil one of the above mentioned criteria, you will not have to quarantine and are free to move in Poland.

Schedule & Transport

How do I get to the church?

The best option to get to the church would be by car, there are plenty of parking spaces available (for free). If you do not have a car to come to the church and need car pooling, please contact us directly, we are happy to organise something for you.

What happens after the church ceremony?

If you have booked the Hotel Szary Residence, please feel free to check into the Hotel Szary Residence (if you have not already) and park your car there.

If you are staying at the location or have booked another hotel, please drive directly to the venue and park your car there.

If you came to the church without a car, we are happy to organise car pooling. Don't worry somebody will bring you to the venue, promise!

How do I get to the venue from Hotel Szary Residence?

A shuttle will be organised and will bring you to the venue. You do not have to worry about anything.

How do I get back to the Hotel Szary Residence from the venue?

A shuttle will be organised and will bring you back to the hotel. We will announce the shuttle schedule times soon.

Will there be a shuttle from/to Krakow city centre?

As almost all our guest stay in Hotel Szary residence, there will be no shuttle to Krakow city centre. However, a taxi from the location to Krakow city centre is actually quite cheap (20-30 Euro).

From Krakow city centre to the church, we would recommend ordering a Uber or Bolt, as they offer super cheap prices and it should only cost you around 15-20 Euro.

 

Other

When can I check into the Hotel Szary Residence?

Officially, you can check in from 2pm.
We will try to get some rooms cleaned for an earlier check-in and will inform each of you individually about the possibilities. 

Don't worry, there is plenty of time between the church ceremony and reception at the venue to check in.

Can I store my luggage at the Hotel Szary Residence before check-in?

Yes, absolutely! Feel free to come earlier and store your luggage at the hotel. Just ask at the reception about the possibility.

Can I get myself ready at the Hotel Szary Residence before check-in?

Yes, you can get yourself ready or freshen up before checking in. The hotel will provide us their spa/gym area, where you will find dressing rooms, showers, ironing possibilities and mirrors. 

We would recommend using this possibility for your 'last touch', as the spa/gym area has limited space. 

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Of course!
